Mirror portrait

Don't worry, I haven't disapeared! I just don't post very often. You'll have to live with that. Here is a picture I drew yesterday.

It is a bit small, I haven't worked out how to enlarge it. The picture is actually A4. I added the table last, because it looked very empty without it, and also unrealistic. It wouldn't look like a real home without any furniture at all. The girl is just made up. It isn't anyone I know. Please let me know what you think, if it would be better without the table.

First Posting

This is the fourth "first posting" I have written (one on my other blog, one on my deleted blog, and a deleted one on this blog) and I still can't think of a more interesting title. I'll just say that it's a tradition. Anyway, this blog (in theory, anyway) is where I am going to post any drawings, paintings, photos and doodles that I think are worth sharing. A little like Pixeloo (of you don't know it Google it). Ok, I'm not as good an artist, I don't work on Photoshop, and I probably won't be doing any untooning, but it's still an art blog. Actually, forget that. It's nothing like Pixeloo. It's more like.... The Doodle Post! So, just to give you an idea of what I might post in future, here are some pictures. These aren't my best pictures, but they are the best ones on the computer and I can't be bothered scanning any others right now. The photo is part of a series. They're just little ornaments set in front of a post card. I might post some others another time. The other two are done on paper, not the computer.
